Peter Maly is a renowned German furniture designer known for his clean lines, minimalist designs, and functionality. He was born in 1948 in Germany and studied at the University of Fine Arts in Hamburg. After completing his studies, he worked as an industrial designer for various companies, including Ligne Roset, Cor, and Thonet. In 1984, he founded his own design studio, Peter Maly Design, which focused on designing furniture, interiors, and architecture. His designs are characterized by their simple yet elegant aesthetic and use of high-quality materials such as wood, leather, and metal.
