Every angle has been considered, ensuring the pendant appears clean and refined even when viewed from above, and maintains its integrity across a wide range of interiors. The Magnus pendant with six shades makes a bold statement in larger living rooms, dining rooms, or entryways. For more compact spaces, the series also include a version with four shades and three models with shades arranged in a linear formation. You can increase the drop by purchasing extension poles, available in 30 cm and 55 cm lengths. These poles screw into the canopy for a seamless finish, letting you customise the hanging height to suit any ceiling or design preference.

Each Magnus shade is mouth-blown in our glassworks in Oxfordshire. Our experts use the finest raw materials and traditional techniques to shape the glass. Emerging from the crucible with a honey-like consistency, the molten glass responds to gravity before taking form in the mould. This process creates the collection’s distinctive rounded silhouette, with a subtly squashed profile that reflects the organic nature of hand-crafted glass.

The final fixture is also assembled on site.

Modern interior design with pendant lights and a kitchen island.

Original BTC

Original BTC’s lighting is retrospective and contemporary, industrial and intimate, and especially high quality. Founder Peter Bowles was born into a long history of British manufacturing and through the success of Original BTC, Bowles resuscitated a ceramics factory in Stoke-on-Trent, a metalwork factory in Birmingham, and a nautical outfitter at London Docks. All proudly British-made, hand-assembled in Oxford, and still family-run.
