Astep - Model 237-1 - Opaline Sphere with Switch
Another of Gino Sarfatti’s beautiful interpretations of the luminous sphere is reintroduced.
The blown opaline glass sphere is gently held in place by a Black or Champagne painted steel ring. The ring has a small cut, enabling the sphere to be placed facing downward or upward and thus providing a direct or indirect light composition. Model 237/1 features one 14cm diameter sphere, whereas the sphere of the model 238/1 is larger, measuring 20cm in diameter. This version has a switch on the cord, bringing elegance to a space without having to hardwire.
