Guided by the principle of not introducing unnecessary elements, French brand Le Jouet Simple partnered with early childhood development professionals to design these fun yet educational toys for children aged 0 to 4. This collection of toys help children explore and learn about the world and help develop imagination, coordination and handling motor skills. For instance, the three shells separate and allow the child to develop dexterity and cause-and-effect relationships. When considering material, they found that children often prefer playing with plastic toys over those made from other materials, drawn by the appealing colors, shapes, and lightness in weight. Le Jouet Simple developed a process for creating safe and responsible toys from 100% recycled plastic, sourced from everyday products like shampoo bottles and packaging. It's production emits on average 70% less CO2 than similar toys made on the other side of the world from non-recycled plastic (Measured with ADEME). The recycled plastic is meticulously processed, cleaned, and transformed into high-quality Le Jouet Simple toys, which are tested by independent laboratories to ensure safety.
