To clean, use a kitchen sponge and water. Mild soap may be used sparingly but be sure to rinse and dry thoroughly. Keep your tools dry to prevent rust and corrosion and store in a low-moisture environment, such as inside the home. If rust forms, use a lightly abrasive kitchen sponge to scrub off. Once a year, oil with a neutral cooking or other appropriate oil and use a rag to buff out. As needed, these tools can be sharpened by competent knife and tool sharpeners.
