Rust and dirt left on the tool can reduce its original performance and quality. We recommend cleaning it regularly and using/storing it in conditions that help prevent rust. After use, wipe off any dirt and moisture from the tool, especially around the blades, and store it indoors in a dedicated sheath or tool box. Keep your shears dry whenever possible in order to prevent rust. If shears become wet while in use or after a thorough cleaning, be sure to dry completely, even by using a warm stove.

Attempting to cut very dry wood, bamboo, or frozen branches may damage the blades, so please use with care. Do not use this tool to cut artificial flowers, wire, plastic or anything else of the sort.
