Start each day with intention using this minimalist Japanese daily calendar. Inspired by traditional design, each tear-off page marks a new day and encourages mindfulness and reflection.
This calendar is based on the Nine Stars, Ten Heavenly Stems, Twelve Earthly Branches, Six Auspicious Days, and Twenty-Four Solar Terms change annually. Creating accurate calendars for each year requires specialized work, as extracting the calendar data involves unique calculation methods.
To print these special calendars, plates must be created. The producer, Nakaoka Syoten, collaborates with Japanese partner companies boasting high-level technical expertise to handle plate making.
The paper used is called ‘Pure White Roll Paper’ and as the name suggests, it is characterized by its whiteness. Its surface has a rough texture, while the reverse side is smooth and glossy. The rough surface offers excellent writability, allowing use with pencils and ballpoint pens. Due to its whiteness and smoothness, Pure White Roll Paper is highly suitable for printing.
