The Asano Hibit 60 Washi Pendant Lamp is a handcrafted Japanese paper lantern renowned for its meditative geometry and warm, sculptural glow. Made by Asano Shoten in the Gifu prefecture of Japan, the design relies on a continuous spiral of natural bamboo filament ribbing wrapped around a wire armature, layered over with panels of thin, traditional Washi rice paper. It ships flat-packed and unfolds gracefully when installed.

Handmade in the Gifu prefecture of Japan for 90 years, this collection of rice paper table lights speaks softly with their halcyon shape and warm diffusion. The simplicity of their structure is characterized by a wire armature that dilates a continuous spiral of bamboo filament and rice paper.
