Le Klint - Shibui Pendant

The Shibui series includes not only pendants but also a wall lamp and floor lamp in various sizes. Designer Søren Refsgaard has created an ultra-cool series with references to the 1950s and a connection to Japanese minimalism. Functionality is also a key element, as the floor lamp can be adjusted to direct light where desired. The Shibui pendant features a hand-folded shade and a black metal ring. The defined shape and lines are clear visuals of Søren’s thought process in terms of functionality is quite obvious in both the wall and floor lamp, that can be adjusted to provide light wherever it is desired.

Søren Refsgaard graduated from Design Seminariet college in 2003. He founded his own drawing office in Copenhagen in the same year. His designs focus primarily on items relating to lighting, furniture and accessories for the home. He is strongly influenced by the Scandinavian design tradition for simplicity and functionality, a tradition that is always clearly evident in his work.

Standard shade and painted ring: Use a dust brush or a slightly damp cloth. Only wipe the painted ring with a dry or slightly damp cloth, alcohol may leave marks on the painted surface.
